You've seen them in the movies and read about them in books but who really lives the enchanted and mystical life of a witch Chances are you've already met a few witches in your life and probably didn't even know it. Real witches usually make an effort to blend in rather stand out in society. They live in normal homes and often have rather normal and ordinary jobs as well. It's what a witch does in her off time, under her breath and when nobody is looking that is anything other than...well, ordinary.
Forget the old hags in pointy hats that you remember from childhood
stories. A modern witch and all her charm is something to behold.
Imagine an attractive woman walking quietly in the woods. A gentle
breeze stirs the air and the autumn leaves blow gently around her in a
circle.
More leaves fall from branches above swirling first downward towards the ground then catching another swift air current they
circle again upwards, appearing to defy the law of gravity as
they follow the young woman drifting deeper into the woods.
You notice all the birds have suddenly become quiet. All of the
animals in fact have stopped what they are doing and are now
looking towards the enchantress as if almost in a trance.
Strange clouds begin to form above the woman
in the forest transforming the way the light
shines magically through the trees. You can
feel goose bumps beginning to form on your
skin, yet you are not cold. In fact the air seems
to be warming around you and intensifying the
earthy aroma of the damp soil and all of the
herbs and moss growing within it. The woman
now begins to softly chant. Strange and melodic,
her words sound foreign yet oddly familiar. You
close your eyes to try to place where you have
heard this melody before. Unable to quite make it
out you begin to reach to your feet where a luminescent
leaf has gently settled. Then all at once a strong gust of
wind blows past your body carrying the leaf with it towards
the the direction of the mystical woman. As your eyes follow
the striking leaf you realize somehow the woman has vanished
from where she was standing. What was this mysterious creature
you ask? That my dear, was a witch! Witch and Wicca
